The Hotel Corona is an historical residence constructed in
1530 by one of the most important families in the history
of the Bregaglia Valley, the Castelmur's.
The recent restoration of the hotel has preserved its historical
value, while providing modern day comforts. The most beautiful
rooms in the hotel are under the protection of the Historical
Society, and exhibit vaulted, and lined, wooden beam ceilings
dating back to the 16th century. The Hotel Corona is located
next to the Valleys famous Pretorio or House
of Justice, and sits at the centre of the sumptuous 16th century
houses that characterize the town.
